Discussing Men - 15/12/2025, 7pm CET

Text: OfCom, Experiences of engaging with the manosphere (June 2025). The report explores how men come to engage with the manosphere, the role it plays in their lives, and how it shapes their views and behaviour. Based on 39 interviews, it has clear implications for work with men and boys. 

Participating in the discussion requires that you read the text ahead of time.

For those who have the time, we recommend also reading OfCom's A safer life online for women and girls, released just last week, which they are planning to use as evidence to request social media companies to control their algorithms for misogynistic content.

About

This reading and discussion group is designed for professionals who work with men and boys and anyone who wants to stay on top of current research, policy trends, and evolving conversations about masculinities. The aim is to build shared expertise, deepen our understanding, and support ongoing professional development in a fast-moving and often politically charged area of practice.

The group is led in English and meets online, once a month, for about 1.5h. Google Meet link provided after registration.

Recordings

All sessions are recorded in full and made publicly available. Short excerpts may also be used for social media and outreach. Participants will appear in the recording and are asked to keep their camera on.
